Global Ocean Shipping Services Ltd. (GOSSL) was organized in December 2015. It started its operations after being SRPS licensed by Bangladesh The Department of Shipping (DoS) in April 2016.
The company earned its ISO certification (ISO 9001:2015) for quality management systems in 2017 and also earned MLC-2006 for Maritime Labor Convention (MLC)
